Refrigerant will leak at some point and a repair will have to be made. The HVAC industry is changing rapidly and many unconventional methods are being implemented. Refrigerant leak repair isn’t immune to these changes. In this video we use Fix Quick, a two part system to repair a drilled out hole to mimic a refrigerant leak. The pipe was tested at just under 400 psi and held for approx 30 minutes on a 1/16″ hole.
