I had this unit to look at towards the end of the day and thanks to the pinch off tool I was once again able to make a repair without recover, evacuation and recharging the unit. Essentially cuttings 4 hours down to 1 hour. HA HA!
I’m still surprised how few techs carry these pinch off tools these days. They used to be pretty standard when I got into HVAC.
