Today I take a different direction and dive into knot tying, why it’s important for our trade, and my personal favorite knot to use day to day. Knots and rope tying are crucial skills for technicians to possess, and I see a lot of sub par, sloppy and downright dangerous knots being tied all the time. I show how to tie a bowline, and the trucker’s hitch as a bonus. If the response is positive there will be a continuing knot series I put out on a regular basis.
