Utilizing a UV light, such as the APCO-X, is just one component of indoor air quality. Using a UVC light installed directly above the evaporator coil can help with coil sanitization and neutralization of biological contaminants. Filtration, ventilation and humidity control must also be introduced to ensure indoor air is comfortable and healthy to breathe.
In this video we look at the install process of the APCO-X from start to finish and some other considerations like moving the humidifier so it is downstream of the UVC line of sight.
