My son is installing a expansion valve for his first time setting him up here. The system a company in my area just installed four years ago and it already blew the compressor literally blew the electrical connector right out of the side of the compressor. The compressor first got so hot that the plug started to melt and drip and then electrical short and blew out. One of the windings had short to ground on a three-phase compressor. The airflow on the system is horrific they have flex duct that look like it exploded with tight bands a lot of sharp 90 and 180° bends undersized vents just a horrible job for air return and supply. I’ll try to get downstairs to take some video of the beautiful ducting work for those guys who love flex duct.
